Not receiving any text messages on your Apple Watch? Getting your text messages delivered right on your wrist is the convenience that we all enjoy. So, if you are not getting any text messages, these solutions will help you out.
Fix 1 – Disable the DND mode
You have to turn off the Do Not Disturb mode on the watch.
Step 1 – At first, hit the side button once.
Step 2 – Next, scroll down to reach the Control Center. Disable the “Do Not Disturb” mode from there.
If any other focus mode is enacted on your device, you should disable any of such as well.
Fix 2 – Turn off the Airplane mode
The Airplane Mode on the Apple Watch restricts the usual cellular activity.
Step 1 – At first, tap the side button on the device.
Step 2 – This should take you to the Control Center. Disable the “Airplane mode” to disable it on your watch.
After turning this off, the problem with the text messages will disappear soon.
Fix 3 – Use the same Apple ID on both devices
Apple synchronizes the devices and mirrors your alerts through the iCloud account. So, you must use the same Apple ID on both the devices to resolve the issue.
Steps for the iPhone ~
Step 1 – Open the iPhone Settings utility.
Step 2 – After opening it up, tap the Apple ID banner.
Step 3 – You will see your Apple ID email address right there.
Steps for the Apple Watch ~
Step 1 – Tap the crown once on your watch.
Step 2 – Later, tap the “⚙” to load up the utility.
Step 3 – Tap the Apple ID banner in the subsequent step.
