Listen to page greyed out in Safari: Fix

Is the Listen to page option is appearing to be greyed out in your Safari browser page? The ‘Listen to’ feature of the Safari does work as its name suggests it does, it reads out the content of the browser page. But, what to do if this ‘Listen To’ feature is greyed out on the Safari layout? This fix will help you.

Fix – Change Siri’s language

Siri’s language selection plays a vital role for the ‘Listen To’ feature to function properly. In other terms, you need Siri does need to be set in the specific language of the webpage (it is English, generally) where you are trying to use that.

Before you do this, make sure that you are online, preferably connected to the Wi-Fi.

Step 1 – Locate the iPhone’s ⚙ icon on your Home Screen.

Once you have reloaded the webpage, you can use the ‘Listen To’ function once again to read out the webpage using Siri.

This should work, and you will hear Siri’s voice reading out the website.
