Earlier, there was no way to check for the places/locations where your iPhone has been but recently after the iOS 15 or later updates, it is possible to see all the significant locations that your iPhone has traveled.
Many iPhone users are excited to know stuff but not sure how to view them. It is really interesting to see and recall all the places you have been to in the past few days. However, it is possible to view the recently visited location on your iPhone but you might need a MacBook to see all the significant locations in detail.
Here in this post, we are going to explain how you can view your iPhone’s significant locations.
How to View iPhone’s Significant Locations
Step 1: Open the Settings page first on your iPhone.
Step 2: Scroll down the Settings page a little bit and look for the Privacy & Security option.
Step 3: Now click on it as shown below.
Step 4: Select the Location Services option by clicking on it at the top of the Privacy & Security page.
Step 5: Now you have to scroll down the Location services list to its bottom.
Step 6: Click on the System Services option from the list as shown in the below image.
Step 7: Look for the Significant Locations option and click on it.
Step 8: It will require you to perform the Face ID verification before proceeding.
Step 9: After success, it will display the Significant Locations page.
Step 10: Here you will find the recent records of your iPhone’s significant locations.
Step 11: But you will not able to view all the records from the Summary section at the top.
Step 12: To view all the significant locations in detail, you need to log in to your MacBook.
Step 13: After logging in to the MacBook, open the System Preferences by clicking on the Apple Menu and selecting the System Preferences from the list as shown below.
Step 14: On the System Preferences window, click on the Security & Privacy option as shown below.
Step 15: It will ask for your password and you have to unlock it by entering your password.
Step 16: Once done, tap on the Privacy tab as shown below.
Step 17: Then select the Location Services option from the left side panel.
Step 18: On the right side, you will see the System Services option and please click on Details.
Step 19: This will show all the significant locations in detail and you can explore them further.
