Google play store is meant for downloading different kinds of apps on android mobiles. Method 1: Clear Google Play Store Cache
Step 1: Go to the phone settings (gear icon)
Step 2: Click on Apps & notifications
Step 3: Select Storage & cache
Step 4: Click on see all apps
Step 5: Find for Google play store app and click on it
Step 6: Click on clear cache option
Step 7: Then click on OK
Method 2: Do The System Update
Step 1: Go to the phone settings (gear icon)
Step 2: Click on About phone
Step 3: Tap on System update and wait for the device to get updated and then check if the issue is solved.
Method 3: Free Up Space
Step 1: Go to the phone settings (gear icon)
Step 2: Click on storage
Step 3: Then click on free up space
Step 4: Restart the phone and then check if the issue is solved.
Method 4: Force Stop google Play Store
Step 1: Find the Google Play Store on your mobile screen and long tap on it
Step 2: Click on the app info symbol (i symbol)
Step 3: Select force stop option and it will stop the play store
Step 4: Now try again to open the Google play store.
Method 5: Clear Google Play Store Storage
Note: Before proceeding to this method note that this method will delete all the data permanently. Due to which you will have to set up your account and other details again.

Method 7: Remove All The Background Apps
If your mobile has less RAM then you should try to remove all the running background apps on your phone. By doing this, the phone might consume less memory and when you start the Google play store app it might work.
Method 8: Uninstall The Google Play Store Updates
Step 1: Open your mobile settings by clicking on the gear icon
Step 2: Click on Apps & notifications
Step 3: Find Google play store app
Step 4: Click on the three-dots at the top-right corner and select Uninstall updates
