Facing some problem with the Google Sheet on your device? Whether you are just keeping a record of the attendance on a trip or managing your personal savings for yourself, Google Sheet has become essential for us. So, if the Google Sheet is not loading up on your Windows, you can take the help of the following solutions.
Fix 1 – Disable the Offline mode
There is a feature on the Google Sheet that lets you keep the offline version of Google Sheet.
Step 1 – Open a new tab on Chrome.
Step 2 – Next, type this in the tab and go to reach the Google Drive home page.

NOTE – You must use the same Google account that is associated to the Google Sheet.
Step 3 – Tap the “⚙” button and click the “Settings” option.
Step 4 – You must go to the “General” tab.
Step 5 – On the other hand, scroll down and go to the ‘Offline’ mode. Uncheck the “Create, open and edit your recent Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides files on this device while offline.” mode.
You won’t face any problem reaching the Google Sheet anymore. Check if this works!
Fix 2 – Use Chrome for Google Sheet
You might be using the Google Sheet on another browser other than the Google Chrome. Sheet works better on Google Chrome. Though Google Sheet is supported on an extensive list of browsers, but it performs the best on Chrome.
So, if you are using your Google Sheet on anything other than Chrome, we recommend you try Chrome for once.
Fix 3 – Disable some of the extensions
If you have any extension that has access to the Google Sheet, it can cause this issue.
Step 1 – The best way to check this is by going into incognito mode. To do that, tap the three-dot button in the top-right corner of Chrome.
Step 2 – Next, tap “New Incognito window“.
Step 3 – Open up your Google Sheet there. You have to log in using your Google account credentials.
If the Google Sheet loads and works correctly, there might be some issue with the extensions on Chrome.
Here are the steps to get rid of any such conflicting extension –
Step 1 – Open a fresh new tab and paste this in the address bar and hit Enter.

Step 2 – Here, you shall find all the extensions that you use on Google Chrome.
Step 3 – Find any Google Sheet related extension and “Remove” it from there.
One of such extensions is Google Docs Offline extension. If you have any such extension, you can just remove it and check.
Now, if you have only a handful of extensions, you can just remove all of them and reinstall one by one to point out the culprit. But, that process is slightly time-consuming.
Fix 4 – Clear the browser cache
The built-up browser cache can cause this issue. So, you should clear out the cache before loading up the Google Sheet.
Step 1 – Tap the three-dot button on the side of the Google Chrome browser.
Step 2 – Next, tap the “Settings” option.
Step 3 – Later, go to the “Privacy & Security” settings.
Step 4 – Tap the “Delete Browsing Data” option on the right portion of the page.
Step 5 – You must set the ‘Time frame’ to “All time“.
Step 6 – Just make sure the “Browsing history” and “Cookies and other site data” is selected. Then, tap the “Clear data” to clear all of it.
After clearing the cookies and site data, load up the Google Sheet. You may have to re-log in to the Google Sheet once again.
This time, you won’t face the Google Sheet stuck at loading problem.
