Having some problem with the notifications on the Gmail app? There is no need to discuss the importance of the email notifications to any iPhone user. You will never want to miss a notification of an important email on your phone. Solving this problem won’t take more than one or two minutes. We recommend you follow these steps on your device to quickly solve the problem.
Fix 1 – Log out of all the sessions and sign in
You can log out of all the Gmail sessions from all the devices and sign in to your session.
Step 1 – Search for “google” from the search box.
Step 2 – Next, tap to open up the “Google” settings.
Step 3 – Tap your profile icon and tap the “Manage your Google Account” button.
Step 4 – In the Google Settings, get to the “Security” tab.

Fix 2 – Change the Gmail app notifications
You may turn on the Gmail app notifications, if it is turned off.
Step 1 – At first, open up the Settings on your iPhone.
Step 2 – Next, load up the “Apps” tab.
Step 3 – After that, find and open the “Gmail” app.
Step 4 – While you are there, open up the “Notifications” option.
Step 5 – Later, turn on the “Allow Notifications” option from there.
After allowing the notifications, you will get Gmail notifications regularly.
Fix 2 – Quit the Gmail and restart the device
You can just close the Gmail app and restart your iPhone to fix this problem.
Step 1 – Simply, swipe upwards to view all the current apps on the iPhone.
Step 2 – Next, close the Gmail app from there.
Step 3 – Later, you have to press the Volume Up and Power button together.
Step 4 – When you see the ‘Slide to power off‘ option to power off the device.
