Is the featured photo not appearing on the Facebook app on your iPhone? Don’t worry. This problem that you are having is not directly associated with your iPhone. For the starters, you should try to uninstall the Facebook app, but if that doesn’t help fix the featured photos issue, you can try the other solutions along the line.
Fix 1 – Offload the Facebook and reinstall
The best solution for this issue is to offload the Facebook app and reinstall the same on the device.
Step 1 – Load the Settings window.
Step 2 – Later, open up the “General” tab.
Step 3 – There, go to the “iPhone Storage” menu.
Step 4 – In that iPhone Storage tab, look for the “Facebook” app.
If you can’t see it there, tap the “Show All” button to view all the apps.
Step 5 – Once you have opened up the Facebook app, tap the “Offload App” option.
Step 6 – It is standard that iPhone shows up a warning message. So, tap the “Offload App” option once more to offload the app.
Step 7 – Go ahead and open up the App Store on the Home Screen.
Step 8 – Next, search for the “Facebook” app and reinstall the same.
Once it is installed, you can use the Facebook app just like before, and you can see the featured images again.
Fix 2 – Update the Facebook app
See whether Facebook is lacking an update or not.
Step 1 – Go to App Store.
Step 2 – There, tap the profile picture on the right-top panel.
Step 3 – An overlay will open up on your iPhone tab.
Step 4 – Go through the list of apps and find the “Facebook” app.
Step 5 – You can update the app directly from there.
Once it is updated, see whether you can view all those Facebook featured images or not.
See whether this works or not.
Fix 3 – Allow full/selective access to your Photos
Try to permit the Facebook app full or selective access to the images on your iPhone.
Step 1 – At first, go to the Settings pane.
Step 2 – Next, open up the “Apps” tab.
Step 3 – There, you can find and open up the “Facebook” app.
Step 4 – In the Facebook window, you will find the “Photos” option.
Step 5 – You can either allow Full Access to all the photos. Or, you can allow Limited access to some of the photos that you want.
Return to the Facebook app and see whether you can view the Featured images on Facebook.
Go for the final fix, if this one doesn’t work.
Fix 4 – Clear the Facebook cache data
If nothing so far has helped you, you can remove the cache data from the Facebook settings page.
Step 1 – Open up the Facebook app.
Step 2 – After opening that up, expand the “Settings & Privacy” tab.
Step 3 – On the same pane, go to the “Settings“.
Step 4 – After opening up the Facebook app, go to the ‘Preferences‘ section.
Step 5 – Go to the “Browser” tab.
Step 6 – In the Browsing data section, tap “Clear” beside the ‘Cookies and cache‘ option.
Step 7 – Later, tap the “Clear” button to empty the Facebook cache.
Once you have cleared the cache, you can close the Facebook app once and, later, relaunch it.
See whether you can use the app or not.
