Chrome opening Facebook app in iPhone: How to fix

Does the Chrome opening up the Facebook app on your iPhone? Some users seem to be facing the same kind of problem where the Chrome is loading up the Facebook app, instead of the Facebook on the web. We have discussed the details of the issue and the quickest and easiest fix for the problem.

Why Chrome is opening Facebook app in the iPhone app?

When you try to access your Facebook wall from the Chrome browser, you may have noticed that it almost immediately takes you to the Facebook app on iPhone. Now, this redirection process is done to enhance the user’s experience. The app experience is always better curated than it’s web counterpart.  But, sometimes this same redirection can be problematic if you want to access your Facebook account on the web browser, not on the traditional app.

Troubleshooting this problem won’t take you long. You can stop the app redirection by accessing the Facebook on a separate web page from the current one. When you do this, Facebook won’t redirect you to the native app, but let you stay and operate from the Chrome browser.
