Does your Apple Pencil not charging or working on your iPad or iPhone? Majority of the iPad users face this problem with their Apple Pencil. It may not be charging properly or charging at all or, in some extensive cases, it is not working at all. Fix 1 – Restart the iPad
The most preliminary fix for this problem is to restart the iPad.
Step 1 – At first, close all the running apps on your iPad.
Step 2 – Later, hold down the Power button on the top and the Volume button on the side of the iPad.
Pressing this buttons for a few seconds will show you the ‘Power Off’ sign.
Step 3 – So, slide your finger across the “Slide to power off” icon to power off the iPad.
Your iPad will be switched off within a few seconds.
Step 4 – Next, press the Power button on the top briefly to power on the iPad.
Try to use the Apple Pencil once again. See whether the pencil is working or not.
Fix 2 – Remove the tip of the Apple Pencil and reconnect
A loose tip in the Apple Pencil can create this problem.
Step 1 – Hold the pencil in your hand and use the fingers of your other hand to unscrew or open the tip of the Apple Pencil.
Step 2 – After this, attach the tip to the Apple Pencil and screw it back to the place.
Once you have attached the tip, the Apple Pencil is ready to use. Try to write something on your iPad and do check if that works.
Fix 3 – Turn off the Bluetooth and reconnect
There are some features of the Apple Pencil needs the Bluetooth to function properly.
Step 1 – So, just open the Control Center on your iPad.
Step 2 – In there, turn off the “Bluetooth” from there.
Step 3 – Give it a few seconds. Then, turn on the “Bluetooth” from the same place of the Control Center.
Step 4 – Next, place the Apple Pencil on the side to charge it for a few minutes.

Fix 4 – Forget the Apple Pencil and reconnect
If the Apple Pencil is giving you the issue, you can forget the Apple Pencil and connect it with your iPad.
Step 1 – Go to your iPad Settings.
Step 2 – Next, tap the “Bluetooth” settings.
Step 3 – On the right-hand pane, look for your Apple Pencil on the opposite part.
