Lock screen is stuck on zoom in iPhone: Fix

Is your iPhone stuck on a zoomed in lock screen? If that is the case, you can’t enter input your Apple pass key to get past the lock screen. One of the getting out of this situation is to use the easiest of ways, the Face ID. But, that also has several limitations. So, we have accumulated this list of solution that will definitely help you troubleshoot.

Fix 1 – Use the zoom out gesture

The problem here can be solved using the zoom out gesture on the iPhone’s lock screen.

Step 1 – Press the Lock/Unlock button once if the screen is switched off.

Step 2 – Now, you have to tap the screen using your three fingers at the same time.

Instantaneously, the lock screen will get zoomed out.

Now the lock screen is zoomed out, i.e. reverted to the default display zoom level, you can use the passcode to unlock your iPhone.

But, if the three-finger gesture doesn’t work, you have to force-restart the device to fix it.

Fix 2 – Force restart the iPhone

You have to perform a hard-reset maneuver on your iPhone to resolve the zoomed in lock screen problem.

Step 1 – While the phone is in locked state, pinch the Volume + button once.

Step 2 – Next, pinch the Volume – button.

Step 3 – Later, just press&hold the Power/Lock-Unlock button on your iPhone. Keep on pressing that Power button, even if you see the ‘Slide to power off’ logo shows up on the device.

Step 4 – Soon the iPhone will be force-rebooted. You can stop pressing the power button when the iPhone reboots and the Apple logo shows up on the screen.

When your iPhone finally boots up, the lock screen will show up. See whether the lock screen looks normal or the zoomed version.

Even if you have unlocked your iPhone, you must disable the zoom feature from the iPhone’s settings.

Fix 3 – Disable the zoom gesture

The zoom gesture is the reason why the lock screen is got zoomed out. So, once you have unlocked the iPhone using any of the previous gestures, you must disable it from the Settings.

Step 1 – At first, unlock the iPhone using your Face ID. It should work just fine.

Or, use the other solutions we have mentioned before in the list to get past it.

Step 2 – Touch the ⚙ icon on your screen. This should open up the Settings tab.

Step 3 – Next, find the “Accessibility” settings in the Settings tab.
