iPhone widgets not working – How to fix

Widgets are an important part of iOS on your iPhone. Weather, clock and other important widgets delivers proper information to the iPhone users without them having to access the individual applications. So, if the widget system breaks down on the device, it can become problematic for the users. If that is the case on your iPhone, you can resort to these solutions to fix the widgets on your iPhone.

Why the Widgets are not working on my iPhone?

Widgets are an extension of an application. On iPhone or iOS, the widgets need explicit permission from the users. In some cases, the app permissions are not linked directly to the application. This means, even if the app has the particular permission, that doesn’t necessarily mean the widget will get the same permission. Sometimes, the widgets may stop working if it is too old. In that case, replacing it with the newer widget should fix the problem.

Fix 1 – Turn on the Location Services

Location Services is the major part of the Weather widget.
