Users having problem of connecting their headphones to their iPad is not unheard of. Normally, it is very easy to connect your headphones to your iPad. But sometimes, due to some reasons, you may not be able to establish a connection between your iPad and the headphones. Fix 1 – Disconnect all other devices
If any earlier devices are connected to your iPad, what you need to do it to disconnect that device.
Step 1 – Open the up Settings on your iPad.
Step 2 – Then, go to the “Bluetooth” pane from the left-hand panel.
Step 3 – On the right-hand panel, if you look, you will found all the devices connected or paired to your iPad.
Step 4 – Look for any device that shows ‘Connected‘ status. Tap the “i” button alongside it to open up that device settings.
Step 5 – On the following page, tap the “Disconnect” option to disconnect that device.
Step 6 – Severe the connection between any other connected devices and your iPad, following the same steps we have mentioned before.
Now, try to reconnect the iPad and the headphone once again.
Fix 2 – Forget the device
The best possible resolution for this case is to remove the pairing of the Bluetooth headphone and later reconnect it.
Step 1 – This process is similar to the iPhone’s method. So, open up the iPad settings.
Step 2 – Next, go to the “Bluetooth” tab.
Step 3 – Find the paired audio device on the right-hand pane.
Step 4 – Touch the “i” button to open the settings.
Step 5 – Next, tap the “Forget this device” option and later confirm it to remove the device.

Step 7 – If you see “Allow New Connections” on the left pane, tap that once.
Step 8 – Within a few seconds, you shall notice the headphone has appeared in the ‘Available Devices‘ section.
Step 9 – Tap it to choose that.
This will pair the headphone with the iPad and connect it. Check if this works.
Fix 3 – Turn off any other Bluetooth devices
If you have Bluetooth devices in the proximity of the iPad and headphones, it can cause interference. This is a known phenomenon in Bluetooth peripherals. If you have any Bluetooth devices (even the Bluetooth mouse, controller or other Bluetooth audio equipments) connected to other devices, we recommend you turn them off.
If you use your headphones with your iPhone, make sure the Bluetooth is turned off on your iPhone. Maybe your headphone is getting connected to your iPhone automatically before you can pair it with your iPad.
Fix 4 – Reset the iPad’s network settings
iPads offer this unique troubleshooting process that can reset all the networking equipments on the device.
Step 1 – To use this process, you have to make your way to the Settings page on the iPad.
Step 2 – In that Settings page, open up the “General” tab.
Step 3 – Now, on the opposite panel, touch the “Transfer or reset iPad” option.
Step 4 – Tap the “Reset” option.
Step 5 – Touch the “Reset Network Settings” module in there.
