`If your iPhone keeps getting stuck in headphone mode, you can face some unnecessary hassle. All the incoming calls will be silenced, as the phone is still in the headphone mode. Getting the iPhone out of the headphone mode can be tricky. The following solutions will help you exactly do that.
Fix 1 – Force restart the iPhone
When you force-restart the iPhone, it should fix the headphone issue in the iPhone.
Step 1 – Detach any wired or Bluetooth headphones from your iPhone. Disconnect any other devices (like external storage) connected to your phone.
Step 2 – Then, once press-release the Volume Up button.
Step 3 – Next, do the same with the Volume Down button on the same side of the device.
Step 4 – Now, to force reboot the device, keep holding the Power button on your phone.
Do not move your finger from the power button until the phone restarts and show up the Apple logo on the phone screen.
Leave the power button and let the phone restart normally.
Check if this works.
Fix 2 – Clear the headphone jack
If your iPhone has been submerged in water recently, the water droplets can get into the 3.5 mm port or the charging socket (provided you use a dongle). So, you must clean the port up.
Step 1 – You have to use a hair dryer and blow hot air in the ports of the iPhone.
Step 2 – Additionally, you can use a toothpick to get out any dust or foreign particle from the ports.
Once you have cleaned the ports, your phone won’t show up stuck in the headphone mode anymore.
Fix 3 – Delete all the network settings
Try deleting all the network credentials from your iPhone.
Step 1 – Open the Settings tab on your iPhone. There, open the “General” settings.
Step 2 – In that particular General settings, open the “Transfer or reset iPhone” option.
Step 3 – You can use the “Reset network settings” to reset the network settings.
Step 4 – In the following step, you have to confirm your action. So, tap “Reset Network settings“.
All the saved network settings will be gone from your iPhone and the phone will reboot automatically.
Your phone will get out of headphone mode.

Step 1 – Just use the Alert Slider on your phone to put it in silent mode.
[NOTE – If you are using a newer iPhone, you can use the Action Button to do this.]
Step 2 – Toggle the same Alert Slider to put the phone out of silent mode.
After disabling the silent mode on your phone, it will get out of the headphone mode for sure.
Fix 5 – Put the phone in flight mode
If your phone is still stuck in the headphone mode, you can try this workaround –
Step 1 – Swipe upwards and put the phone in flight mode from the Control Center.
Step 2 – Make sure to keep the phone in flight mode for an hour or so.
Step 3 – Later, tap the same flight button to disable the airplane mode.
