Can’t see any of the Instagram notifications on your iPhone’s lock screen? If the Instagram notifications are not appearing on the phone’s lock screen, you can’t keep track or respond to your Instagram activities. To solve this problem, we have to first identify the root cause of it and apply the necessary fixes according to the situation.
Why the Instagram Notifications are not showing up on the lock screen?
We don’t use the iPhone all day long. It is not just possible to keep the device awake for all time. Most of the time, the device just stays in the locked state, lying on the table. So, getting the notifications directly on the iPhone’s lock screen is always preferred. The actual reason why you can’t see any of the Instagram alerts is due to the misconfigured notification settings. Toggle the correct settings in the Instagram settings to get those notifications on the lock screen once again.
Fix 1 – Change the Notification Preview options
You can take control of the Notification preview on your iPhone.
Step 1 – Open up the iPhone Settings on the device.
Step 2 – Next, go to the “Notifications” panel.
Step 3 – Once you have access to the Notification settings, find the “Instagram” app from the list.
Step 4 – You have to open it up.
Step 5 – Slide down through the Instagram app settings page, and open up the “Show Preview” option.
Step 6 – In the Show Preview page, set the “Always” option from there.
Once you have changed the notification preview settings, you will start to see all the Instagram notifications on the lock screen of the device.
Fix 2 – Enable Lock Screen notification delivery system
You can change the lock screen notification settings from the app page.
Step 1 – Load up the iPhone settings on your phone.
Step 2 – Next, open up the “Apps” category.
Step 3 – In the Apps category panel, find and open up the “Instagram” app.
Step 4 – In there, you have to open the “Notifications” settings.
Step 5 – There you will find the ‘Alerts‘ section. Make sure the “Lock Screen” option is selected.
When the lock screen option is enabled, you will get the lock screen alerts on your Instagram app.
See if this has any affect.
Fix 3 – Get out of Focus Mode
If your iPhone is in focus mode, there won’t be any notifications from the Instagram app on the lock screen.
Step 1 – To check whether the device is in Focus Mode, you can check the status bar to know that. The status bar on the iPhone carries the mark of the individual focus mode.
Step 2 – So, if you are in one of them, open up the Control Center.
Step 3 – There, turn off the “Focus Mode” from there.
After disabling the mode, the notifications of the app will be delivered to the lock screen.
Hope these fixes have worked out for you!
