Is the Clock app missing from your phone? The date and time will still be seeing on the status bar of the iPhone. But, without the clock app, you can’t use several features like World Clock, Stopwatch, Alarms, etc. So, fixing the absence of the Clock app should be at the top of your to-do list. These solutions may help you resolve this issue.
Fix 1 – Place the Clock app
If you have mistakenly deleted the Clock app from your Home Screen, you can put the Clock app back in its place.
Step 1 – Unlock your iPhone and start to swipe the left side until you reach the App Library page.
Step 2 – Next, search for “Clock” in the search box.
Step 3 – When you see the “Clock” just below in the search results, hold it and drag it to place it on your Home Screen. You can place the icon wherever you like it.
This way, you can use the Clock app again on your phone. Use the Clock app to set up a timer or check the times around the world. Check if this works.
Fix 2 – Search from App Store
You have deleted the Clock app mistakenly from your phone. So, it is time to reinstall it on your phone from the App Store.
Step 1 – Open the App Store.
Step 2 – Search for “Clock” in the search box.
Step 3 – You will see the “Clock” app in the search results. Tap the icon beside it to install the Clock app on your phone.
Once you have installed the Clock app, you will find the Clock app on your phone screen.
Swipe the pages on the Home Screen to find it.
Fix 3 – Reset all the settings to default
You must reset all the settings to the default mode.
Step 1 – Begin by opening the SettingsĀ and open the “General” setting.
Step 2 – Among all the other settings, open the “Transfer or reset iPhone” item.
Step 3 – Touch to open the “Reset” option.
Step 4 – A list of several reset options will appear. Use the “Reset All settings” option.
This process involves an authentication step that involves your Apple Passkey.
Step 5 – This does reboot your phone and the resetting process completes while the phone is booting up.
Retry using the Clock app.
Fix 4 – Update your phone’s OS
Apart from the above-mentioned reasons, this can just be a glitch in the OS as well. So, update the phone to the latest version.
Step 1 – Open the Settings and go this way –
General > Software Update
Step 2 – Wait for a few seconds. If an update is pending, you must download and update the phone to the latest version.
Step 3 – Use the “Update now” function to start the due proceedings and update it to the latest version.
As usual, your phone will get rebooted during the update process. So, check if this works or not.
