iPhone camera not working : Here is the Fix

Has the camera stopped working suddenly on your iPhone? Whether a software glitch or a hardware component failure has caused the malfunction of the camera, don’t worry. These resolutions will be helpful in troubleshooting the camera issue on your iPhone. Start from a simple force-closure of the Camera app and if that doesn’t work, try force-restarting the phone.

 

Fix 1 – Force close the Camera app

Try force closing the Camera app on your phone.

Fix 2 – Allow the Camera access

You must allow the camera access to the application in question.

Step 1 – Start by going to the Settings tab.

Fix 3 – Force restart your iPhone

Force-restarting the device means resetting the device and giving it a fresh start. Your camera issue may come to an end with this.

Step 1 – At first, pinch the Volume Up button on your phone and release that.

Step 2 – The second step is to pinch the Volume Down button on the same part of the phone.

Step 3 – Next, press and hold the Power Button on the opposite side of the phone button. Keep pressing that same button.

Fix 4 – Reset all the Settings on your device

If this a bug that is impeding the funcitonality of the Camera, reset all the settings.

Resetting your iPhone requires your FaceID and Pass key. So, use those properly to proceed.

Step 5 – Finally, tap the “Reset now” icon to reset it.

Your phone will reboot and reset all the settings back to normal. Give the camera another try.
