Even though the Discord application is flawless and does not have any major issues, some iPhone users have shared an issue which is regarding the Discord app. They explained that when they opened the Discord app, it tried connecting and after some time, got stuck on it.
They are now unable to reply or send messages to anybody on Discord. The reasons responsible for this connecting issue could be the corrupted data, technical glitches of the Discord app, the Discord app might have been outdated, lack of Internet strength, the Discord server must be down, etc.
Having said all the factors and after researching more about them, we have compiled some excellent solutions for fixing this problem in this post below.
Preliminary Fixes
- Test the Internet connection – For connecting the Discord service, it needs to have a strong Internet connection on the iPhone. So try restarting the Wi-Fi router to refresh the signal. Also, if the Wi-Fi signal is not strong, you can switch to mobile data. Never enable both Wi-Fi and mobile data at the same time.
- Check the Discord Server Status – The Discord connecting issue could be because the Discord server was down at that time. You need to check the server status of the Discord app. If it is down, we suggest you wait for some time and try again after a few hours.
- Disconnect the VPN on your iPhone – When you have connected a VPN on your iPhone, you can only access the private network and this won’t allow you to connect Discord or other similar apps. So you need to disconnect any VPN connection by browsing Settings –> General –> VPN & Device Management –> VPN.
