Document Repair is built so that there is nothing to have a privacy policy about — but
here it is anyway, in plain language.
Your files never leave your PC.
Document Repair opens, analyzes and repairs your
files entirely on your computer. It makes no network connections of any kind — no
uploads, no downloads, no update checks, no telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporting.
No account, no personal data.
The app has no sign-in, collects no personal
information, and stores nothing about you. The only thing it writes is a small local
settings file on your own PC (whether the one-time unlock has been purchased and how
many free saves were used). That file never leaves your machine.
Purchases.
The optional one-time unlock is sold and processed entirely by the
Microsoft Store, under Microsoft’s terms and privacy policy. Document Repair only asks
the Store whether the unlock is owned; we never see your payment details or identity.
Your repaired files are written only where you choose to save them. The app never
deletes, moves or modifies your original files.

policy will be updated before that version ships.
