Fix System Service Exception Error in Windows 10 [Solved]

Fix System_Service_Exception Error in Windows 10

This particular BSOD error occurs due to issues with graphics card drivers. Although, it could also happen due to a few other reasons. We will look into all of them one by one, until the issue is fixed.

 

1. Undo Recent Changes

If you have made any changes to a Windows File recently or had installed any software or app on your computer, then remove that app. Rollback any recent changes that you had made and restart your computer. This should fix the issue. If the problem is still not solved and you are still getting the error, then follow the next method.



 

2. Reinstall Graphics Card Driver

As the most common cause behind this error is issues with graphics card driver, we will try reinstalling its drivers to check if it fixes the issue.

 

Step 1. Right-click on Windows logo or Start menu button and select Device Manager.

Step 2. Click on Display Adapters to expand it and right-click on your graphics card name. Select Uninstall Device.

Step 3. A dialog box will open after the last step. Here, mark Delete the driver software for this device and click OK.

Step 4. Now, restart your computer.

 

After restarting, your computer will recognize the graphics card as a new device and it will automatically install its driver. This should fix the problem. If it doesn’t, follow the next method.

 

3. Update Graphics Card Drivers

If the last method didn’t work, then you should update your graphics card drivers.

Step 1. Right-click on Windows logo or Start menu button and select Device Manager.

Step 2. Click on Display Adapters to expand it and right-click on your graphics card name. Select Update Driver.

Step 3. A new dialog box will open. Here, select Search automatically for updated driver software.

Step 4. After the update, restart your computer.

 

This should fix the issue. If not, follow the next method.

 

4. Run System File Checker

In this method, we will use System File Checker tool to scan and fix the error.

 

Step 1. Go to Cortana and type cmd. In results, right click on cmd and select Run as administrator.

Step 2. Type the following and press Enter.

Step 3. On your keyboard, press Y.

Step 4. Restart your computer. The scan will begin, let it finish.

 

When your computer restarts, check if the issue still exists. If it does, follow next method.

 

5. Uninstall Antivirus (Third-Party)

This particular error can also occur due to third-party antivirus. If it is installed on your computer, try uninstalling it. If you don’t want to uninstall it, try updating it.
