if youre using amd gpu and using switchable graphics, set your bcastdvr.exe in radeon setting to power saver.
if for some reason when u open the game u wanted to play then the bcastdvr change to other option (high performance/based on power), then check ur power/battery setting under dynamic setting-thing in advance setting and set it to optimaze power setting

for some reason, i cant record using game bar when the battery is pluggin/charging coz the bcastdvr change to high performance when i open the game, but it run just fine without it. thats bcoz my setting in advance power setting are different between pluggin an on battery
