i tried all of these at school, and is it possible none of them worked because of restrictions on the system?

does not work. I tried chrome specific. I have several accounts in chrome and in one it does not work. it is probably because of zscaller proxy, but it works for other browsers and other chrome accounts so the computer , the chrome and the proxy is ok, only the account is not working, the one is not related to gmail.com. so Your list of solutions is not full. You are missing solutions per account.

Thank you! My issue is that I had a proxy that I had installed that was causing the problem. Your steps helped me fix this!
