Thank you! The powershell option worked, with one modification: I couldn’t run it directly in powershell. Instead, I typed cmd in start, opened that with admin privileges, and then once in the cmd window, pasted the PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted, followed by the Get-AppX line. Don’t know if the powershell line once in the cmd window mattered or not but it did work and that’s the important thing.

Fix 4 – Its the right one !! Thanks man, i got this issue after i accidentaly deleted LOCAL APP folder.

The powershell fix fixed it, but only for the first right-click. After that it was back to broken…

My issues after a windows 10 update:
– Rightclick on task bar doesn’t work
– wifi networks can’t be seen from the Internet Access icon, only from the lockscreen icon
– Typing in the start menu has no effect
